Ayush kwath formulation contains Holy Basil leaves (tulsi), Cinnamon bark (Dalchini), Dry Ginger (Sunthi), and Black Pepper (Krishna Marich). The proportions of the compositions are as follows: (3) 

  • Holy Basil leaves (Ocimum Sanctum): 4 parts
  • Cinnamon bark (Cinnamomum Zeylanicum): 2 parts
  • Dry Ginger (Zingiber officinale): 2 parts
  • Black pepper (Piper nigrum): 1 part

How to Take Ayush Kwath

Take 3gms (1/2 teaspoonful) of powder and boil in 150ml water for 3-5minutes.  Strain and add jaggery, raisin, or lemon as per taste.
